Referrals

• 30%of the Basis fee paid by a wallet that used your link
• 5%of the fee paid by a wallet that used their link
• 2%of the fee paid one level below that

Level one pays 50% instead of 30% until 13 December 2026 at 00:00 UTC. Which rate a trade earns is decided by when the trade happened, not by when you read this, so anything earned before that date stays earned at 50%.

Basis marks some wallets as creators. A marked wallet earns 40% at level one, permanently, and the mark is something Basis applies rather than something a wallet can claim. It never pays less than the rate you would have had without it.

Get $5 once for each wallet you refer that becomes an active trader: in one calendar month (UTC), after it was referred, it pays Basis fees on at least 3 different days, and at least $20 in Basis fees in all. Only Basis fees count, valued in dollars at the rate when each was paid. Trading volume does not count, and neither do launch fees on Basis's own launchpad. Each referred wallet earns this once, ever. It is paid by hand with your other earnings, in ETH at the rate when the wallet qualified.

A wallet with a recorded referral pays 10% less Basis fee on graduated trades routed through 0x or through Basis's route into a graduated Pons pool, and gets 10% of the fee back on Pons curve trades and trades through BasisSwapRouter. BasisSwapRouter collects its full fee first; eligible rebates are credited afterwards. That is 10% of the Basis fee, not of the trade's total cost: gas and the venue's own fee are unchanged, and Stock Token, perpetual and curve trades outside these routes get neither. It starts once the referral is recorded; a quote priced while Basis cannot confirm it carries the standard fee. A hold ends it.

Referral earnings come from every trade that pays a Basis fee: trades routed through 0x, through BasisSwapRouter, through Basis's route into a graduated Pons pool, Pons curve trades routed through the Basis router, Rug Exit and trading-wallet sells, and Basis's share of the fee on Basis curve launches. Curve trades on Pons, pools.trade, LONG, 0x1cbaf24d, pair.fund, o1 Launchpad, Clanker, Clank, Virtuals, BANKR, Flap, 0xda3f5004, Uniswap, Doppler, Basis Curve and Basis outside these routes carry no Basis fee, so they earn you nothing.

Earnings accrue in the asset each fee was paid in and are never converted or added together, because two amounts in two tokens have no sum. Basis pays them by hand rather than on a schedule, so a rate here is what you have earned and not a date you will be paid on.

Every new referral's share waits for a check. A referral is held when the chain or the referred wallet's browser suggests one person holds both, and earns no share or discount until cleared.
